Nuova puntata di RockWave con Alberto Prisco: in apertura "Helen Keller", il nuovo singolo dei Placebo. La band di Brian Molko e Stefan Olsdal celebra trent'anni di carriera con un brano intenso e ipnotico nato dalla rielaborazione di una traccia nascosta del debutto del 1996. Il titolo rende omaggio alla scrittrice e attivista statunitense Helen Keller. "Life Still Teaches Me" è tratto dall'EP d'esordio solista del mandolinista e compositore padovano Stefano Santangelo, già fondatore dei Buffalo Ramblers e del Mideando String Quintet. Sei brani originali tra folk, bluegrass e sonorità acustiche che raccontano oltre quarant'anni di esperienza musicale. In scaletta anche "We Might as Well Be Strangers" dei Weezer, storica band alternative rock di Los Angeles guidata da Rivers Cuomo. Il brano, realizzato con la partecipazione di Karly Hartzman dei Wednesday, conferma il ritorno del gruppo a sonorità più¹ dirette, energiche e graffianti.
